The Lansing School Archive will be a multi-generational oral history project featuring the former students and staff of the historic Lansing School. Built in 1937-38 the Lansing School stone building is a WPA era historic property. In the 1950's additional buildings were added to the school’s campus, one of which is now home to Buddy Holler, a full-service audio recording studio.

This project is being produced with the support of Mountain BizWorks and Invest Appalachia.

Erin is the first High Country artist we had the pleasure of working with. Buddy Holler produced Erin’s single, ‘Love Letter to Winter’, about falling in love with winter.

Will Willis is a roots-based singer-songwriter whose work bridges folk, Americana, and storytelling traditions. Known for heartfelt lyrics and organic instrumentation, Willis has performed throughout the Southeast, both solo and with his band. His music reflects personal experience and a deep commitment to authentic expression and community.

River Warrior is the story of one woman’s journey into the heart of America’s water sheds—1,895 miles powered by nothing but a paddle, peddles, determination, and the belief that water is worth fighting for. Buddy Holler’s Justin Faircloth is composing the score and working to incorporate local music into the film.
